IV treatment at home begins with clinical suitability
Intravenous therapy introduces fluid or medication directly into a vein and should never be treated as a routine lifestyle add-on. In some circumstances, a clinician may recommend an intravenous treatment and determine that it can be delivered safely at home.
Request this serviceAll our clinicians have over 10 years of international clinical experience.
In familiar surroundings.
With your needs in focus.
My London Health Clinic offers IV therapy subject to individual clinical assessment, appropriate instructions and confirmation that the proposed treatment can be safely delivered in the agreed setting.
What must be checked first?
Before any home IV therapy is agreed, the clinical team should consider the indication for treatment, the patient’s medical history, any relevant allergies or medicines, whether a prescription is required, monitoring needs, risks and the suitability of the home environment.
Clear expectations about benefits and risks
Not everyone who feels tired, dehydrated or unwell needs an IV infusion. Where oral hydration or a different medical assessment is more appropriate, that should be explained. IV treatment may carry risks including infusion reactions, infection and complications at the cannula site.
Request an assessment, not a preselected drip
If a clinician has recommended an IV treatment, tell us what has been prescribed and why. Our team can confirm whether the proposed care is covered by the service and whether an appropriate appointment can be arranged.
Questions about this service
Clear information can help you decide on an appropriate next step.
Can I order a vitamin drip at home?
A request does not establish medical suitability. IV treatments are offered only where the clinical indication, professional authorisation and facility scope allow.
Do you guarantee energy or immunity benefits from IV drips?
No. We do not promise unproven wellness outcomes. Treatment decisions should be based on a medically sound indication and an individual risk assessment.
